MARVELous than MARVEL(a mother’s day special)
She is the woman who carried you in her womb within nine months and delivers you to this world. She even woke up during midnight just to feed your small tummy. She was your first teacher who patiently taught you your first step, your first word to your first ABC’s. She also read you bedtime stories until you fell asleep and pacify you whenever you had scary dreams. She was the one who was very proud watching at you outside the window during your very first day in school. She was your very first fan who always supports you during your school recitals and field demonstrations. She is the supper curious woman who always wants to know everything which sometimes annoys you. She never fails to be at your back whenever you need someone, its just you who don’t turn around to seek for support.
Some called her Mommy, Mama, Ma, Inay, Inang, Ina, Nay, Mom or whatever you call her. She is the woman behind every one, our MOTHER.
She may not be Wonder Woman but she is more wonderful and amazing than any other woman. She’s neither Nostradamus nor Spider Man but her prediction and senses are good. She can even withstand DoomsDay’s Kryptonite that Superman can’t. She has a bigger and brighter heart than Iron Man. Flash is definitely so fast but she can fix things with just a blink of an eye. She can lead her children just like Professor X to his X-Men. She might be stronger than Hulk for she can destroy any obstruction and problems than comes in her way. She might also not as Fantastic as 4 but she is absolutely a mighty one.
She may not be as perfect as any other super heroes but her MARVELous love to her children can conquer any imperfections within her.
A mother, a woman sent by God to be our guide and light on this path called life. Let’s not take them for granted but let’s show them our love and appreciation.
